The 2nd highest, which is 27% of the people who kindly completed our survey choose option 4, using more than 3 years of bag life. From this statistics, inference is able to be made, which is that teenagers normally use bags for 1 - 2 years before they change to something new. Therefore, Eternal Legacy will provide bags that are stylish yet durable.
Q2: Which bag would you prefer to use when going out with friends?
60% of the people who completed the survey choose option 1, which is sling bags. That is the highest percentage out of all the options. The 2nd highest is option 3, bag pack had 25%. From this statistics, inference is able to be made, which is that teenagers normally use sling bags when they go out. Therefore, Eternal Legacy will provide sling bags.
Q3: What kind of texture would you prefer your bag to have?
84% of the teenagers who completed the survey choose option 3, which is nylon. From this statistics, inference is able to be made, which is that which is that teenagers prefer nylon bags over leather or felt. Therefore, Eternal Legacy will provide bags made off leather.
Q4: What problems do you normally have with your bags?
38% of the teenagers who completed the survey choose option 1, which is that their bag breaks or tears. The 2nd highest option is option 3, which is that their bag causes backaches. Therefore, Eternal Legacy will provide bags that will not tear easily and minimize the number of backaches.
Q5: What features would be preferred to have on a bag?
Based on the results, 36% of the people would like to have their bag to be waterproof, 25% of the people would prefer to have computer backing and 21% of the people would like more pockets. There are also 18% of the people who would like special features such as lightweight and supportive straps. As such, all bags that we design will be waterproof as most people would like to have that feature in bags, as the percentage of people who would like to have computer backing and more pockets are rather high as well, we will design most of our bags to have computer backings and numerous pockets. In addition, we will have a secret compartment in all our bags, this secret compartment will vary from bag design to bag design.
Q6: How would you like to open your bag?
Based on the results, 68% of the people would like to open their bags using zips, 14% of the people like to open their bags using velcro, 14% of the people would also like to have magnets to open their bag and only 3% of the people would like to open their bags using only pockets. As such, all bags that we design will incorporate zips. Some of the bags we design will make use of velcro and magnets as there are still some people who would like to open their bags using velcro and magnets. We will have a few pockets in our design but we will place them inside the bags due to security reasons as having pockets outside may cause items to drop out easily or be stolen.
